L e u n g C h i W o 梁 志 和
Born in Hong Kong in 1968, Leung Chi Wo graduated with a BA in Fine Arts from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1990. Then Leung made a photography study in Italy and a museum internship in Belgium. Upon return to Hong Kong in 1992, he worked in a TV station for 3 months before joining a publishing house as an editor. In 1995, he went back to study in the graduate school of his alma mater. In 1996, he cofounded Para/Site Art Space in Hong Kong. Having earned his MFA in 1997, he has also been granted a fellowship from the Asian Cultural Council for him to reside in New York City from 1999 to 2000. In 2001, he was featured in the first Hong Kong pavillion in Venice Biennale. He has widely exhibited internationally since then. Currently he lives and works in Hong Kong.
