I respect Wong Yankwai a lot, he is a principled man who knows how to live his life in his own way. A multi-talented artist, he is a man of action. He makes things happen. He might look pensive and intimidating to some people, but in reality he is a very friendly and humble person. He loves music and he does play it well. I think his musicality is reflected in his exuberant paintings as well. His paintings seem edgeless: they keep on going continuously long pass the canvas edges, long pass our sight.
