Fauzie is a creative dreamer whose soul is torn between Yogya, his hometown and Liechtenstein, where he has made him home now. Although it was his marble sculptures that attracted me first, it was his whimsically poetic paintings that inspired me to bring his works to Hong Kong. There is an elegance mixture of western and eastern elements in his works that I found particularly compelling.
