Ever since meeting Sinsin a long time ago, I have tried to pack her into a drawer, to categorise her and to get a hold of her sprawling wild energy and creativity. It was not possible. So, for me, a cabinet could not be more wrong as a metaphor to describe my relation - and friendship with Sin Sin. I simply refuse. The cabinet and all conventions, restrictions and incarcerations it stands for, will have to go! In comes the hammer and raw manpower! From the remaining scrap I will create an artwork that will be “Sin Sin” for me.
