A cabinet is a container to store things. There are many different kinds, according to the specific function, such as a wardrobe to store clothing, a chest to hold jewellery, a bookcase, and a china cabinet.
When Sin Sin offered the theme of ‘cabinet’, I imagined what kind I would like to make, and what sort of things I would like to keep inside them. After some consideration, I came up with a ‘Brainless Cabinet” in which human organs such as the heart and pancreas are stored, and they look alike. In the bottom part of the cabinet, there is a head of a rooster as a symbol of sex or lust. When feelings (heart), pancreas (stomach) and lust act without thought, they are best to be kept inside a cabinet to avoid disaster. The moral is to think thoroughly before taking any action.
